At mile 1495.3 in Salisbury, CT and I am having the time of my life. Four states remain after Connecticut; Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. Before I begin, I want to thank Kim (K2) for the package that included a lot of goodies including a treat for 21 and up adults. This was my first package on the trail so it was very exciting and I am very pleased:) K2 you are awesome!

| The wildlife never disappoints, you just have to keep your eye out for these wonderful creatures. |
My love, Chelsea, visited me May 5th through May 11th to celebrate our 6th year anniversary:) Soon it will be time to put a ring on that hand. Chelsea got to hike part of the Appalachian Trail in Pennsylvania. She witnessed the beauty of the trail, some of the best hostels, the Jackrabbits (people I have been hiking with) and extracurricular activities that the hikers part take in when off the trail.
| The Ironmasters Mansion Hostel that was built by the Ironmaster for his family in 1829 which contains a secret room. |

| A play that Chelsea and I saw at Allenberry Resort Inn and Playhouse in Boiling Springs, PA. A touching play. |

| At Gettysburg where the bodies of the soldiers lay from the Civil War. The statue in the distance is the spot where Abraham Lincoln did the Gettysburg address. |
The half gallon ice-cream challenge near the halfway point. Vanilla was my choice. Finished in 27 minutes and was still able to have a beer after:) All for a cheap wooden spoon but all worth it. Unfortunately Chelsea did not part take in the challenge.
| Celebrator beers after the half gallon challenge. No puking was involved. |
| Posing near Fuller Lake. |
Our last day together (Chelsea and I) at Washington D.C. where we observed all the monuments and memorials DC has to offer.
| Two love birds! |
This is what happens when your love of your life leaves you. You feel lonely, confused, and you forget how to groom yourself.
| This falcon was not happy to see me. It kept bomb diving and cawing at me. |
Enjoying some Jazz at Deer Head restaurant in Delaware Water Gap, PA courtesy of Niners. The blonde fellow right across from me is Prefontaine. He has joined our group and plans on finishing the AT with us. He is as outstanding as the long distance runner Steve Prefontaine.
| It appears Prefontaine and I are in love:) |
Mini golf during the day and at night. By the way putt-putt at night is 100 times better than during the day:)

| How does Tilikum always get himself into these situations? |
Careful of the water-snakes if you decide to go swimming in the ponds.
| A vole sighted during the day. |

Snakes appear everywhere on the trail from a black racer to a eastern milk snake.

The AT always surprises me. Here in New York it goes through the zoo!
| My first sighting of a bear while on the AT and it was at the zoo. |
